Portfolio Finance /Fund Analytics (Capital Markets)

Our client is a premier PE Fund based in NYC, currently seeking to add a talented Associate/Senior Associate to their Portfolio Analytics Team. This individual will be working closely with Portfolio Managers across finance, investment management, operations, technology, investor services, compliance/legal, and marketing.ResponsibilitiesThis role will be responsible for continuously enhancing the vision for client reporting to reflect evolving needs of firm clientsReview and analyze portfolio performance data, benchmark performance and risk statisticsReview and make necessary adjustments to client quarterly reports to ensure reports are sent out in a timely mannerWork with all levels of team members across the organization to help coordinate data feeds for various internal and external databases, in effort to ensure the integrity and consistency of portfolio data reported across client reporting systemsApply queries, pivot tables, filters and other tools to analyze data.Perform and produce portfolio analytics using firms' dataBuild financial models in effort to perform portfolio exposure, risk and performanceIdentifying opportunities to enhance the strategic reporting platform by gathering and analyzing field feedback and collaborating with partners across the organizationMaintain client relationship management database and providing reports to Directors on a regular basisProvide various ad hoc data research and analysis as needed.Desired Skills and ExperienceBachelor’s Degree with at least 4+ years of Financial Services/Private Equity data/client reporting experienceProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel ModelingTechnical knowledge, data analytics using CRMs (Salesforce), Bloomberg, FactSet, Morningstar, Excel, PowerPointOutstanding communication skills, proven ability to effectively work with all levels of ManagmentComfortable working in a fast-paced, dead-line driven dynamic environmentInnovative and creative thinkerMust be detail oriented
