Portfolio Manager

The Portfolio Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing a diverse portfolio consisting of Equities, Fixed Income, Private Equity, and Forex, ensuring alignment with the desired asset allocation policy and current economic conditions.Key ResponsibilitiesKnowledge in identifying investment ideas / global themes across asset classes. Analyze and evaluate investment opportunities, producing clear investment recommendationsTracking market trends across equity, alternatives, and credit markets worldwide and advising the team on sector/country allocation for all products in line with asset allocation strategyStay up to date with financial market developments, consider the implications of these market movements on the Fund’s future investment activities, and make an informed decision regarding the allocation of the investment resources for the managed portfolioSelect the appropriate investment opportunities by utilizing the analysis, research, and due diligence reports of investment management firms, banks, and other external financial institutions to identify the appropriate investment allocationRegularly review, recommend, and rebalance investment portfolios as per the review mechanism prescribed by the CompanyClosely track the performance of trade recommendations issued to the investment team to ensure proactive management of the sameManaging and monitoring end to end Family Office Banking relationshipsQualifications and skillsA bachelor’s degree in business/ finance / economics from a reputed universityMaster’s degree or/and MBA and/or CFA/CA is a preferredExperience of at least 5+ years in investment management with a Family Office/Asset Manager/Investment Consulting/Wealth ManagerUnderstanding of asset classes Equity, Debt, Alternates, Real Estate, ForexUnderstanding of Products and instruments like stocks, bonds, funds, Structured Products, Private Equity, and Real Estate
