This role requires deep industry expertise, financial acumen, and the ability to drive long-term value creation across a diversified portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & OversightConduct comprehensive financial evaluation of investment and joint venture opportunitiesPrepare and deliver monthly reviews of joint venture financial performance and reporting to senior managementEscalate critical issues that require senior management's immediate attention and decision-makingMonitor portfolio performance across power, oil & gas, manufacturing, and related sectorsStrategic OperationsParticipate in board meetings and conduct daily reviews of joint venture operationsPrepare detailed Management Information Systems (MIS) reports for the divisionConduct market surveys and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunitiesDevelop and deliver presentations to internal and external stakeholdersAudit joint venture operations and conduct financial analysis to ensure compliance and performanceBusiness DevelopmentIdentify and evaluate potential joint venture opportunities in the manufacturing sectorBuild and maintain a pipeline of strategic partnerships and investment opportunitiesAssess project viability and long-term value creation potentialSupport expansion initiatives across core sectorsTeam LeadershipInitially function as an individual contributor with board supportGradually build and lead a dedicated team to manage portfolio operationsProvide strategic guidance and operational oversight across multiple joint venturesKey Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with an MBA in Finance10+ years of progressive experience in portfolio management, corporate finance, or investment managementProven track record in industrial, manufacturing, energy, or oil & gas sectorsMust have previously formed or managed at least one joint venture or merger & acquisition in previous organizationsAbility to assess project viability and drive long-term value creationExperience with MIS reporting and data-driven decision makingProficiency in conducting market research and financial analysis
