POS Developer

D365 Commerce TechnicalRole & ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, customize, and implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce solutions based on business requirements.Develop and maintain Commerce Runtime (CRT), Retail Server, Hardware Station, and POS extensions.Configure and customize Modern POS (MPOS), Cloud POS (CPOS), and Store Commerce applications.Develop integrations between D365 Commerce and third-party systems using APIs, Azure Services, and middleware platforms.Create and maintain custom workflows, services, and business logic within the D365 Commerce ecosystem.Work closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Perform code reviews, debugging, performance optimization, and troubleshooting of Commerce applications.Support deployment activities, release management, and production issue resolution.Develop technical design documents, deployment guides, and solution documentation.Ensure adherence to Microsoft best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines.Participate in solution architecture discussions and provide technical recommendations.Skills and Attributes3–5 years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce / Dynamics 365 Retail development.Strong hands-on experience with:Commerce Runtime (CRT)Retail Server ExtensionsPOS Extensions (MPOS/CPOS/Store Commerce)Hardware Station DevelopmentCommerce Scale Unit (CSU)Experience with Azure Functions.Good understanding of Commerce architecture, channel database, and data synchronization processes.Experience in integrations with ERP, payment gateways, loyalty systems, and third-party applications.Knowledge of source control systems such as Git and CI/CD pipelines.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Good to HaveKnowledge of Jewellery domain and experience working on Retail projects.
