With English as the primary medium of instruction, UM is committed to nurturing creative, socially responsible graduates with a global outlook and strong international competitiveness.Role Description The Postdoctoral Researcher will conduct industry-related research, aiming to develop wet-lab & dry-lab solutions for spatial transcriptomics service. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing research projects, communicate with collaborators, commercializing laboratory technology to the market, preparing manuscripts for publication, and presenting results at seminars and road shows. The role also involves mentoring of PhD students and assisting with grant applications and research proposals. This is a full-time on-site role located in the Macau-Hengqin Metropolitan area, requiring regular presence on campus and active participation in the university’s academic community.QualificationsStrong research skills, including study design, literature review, and scholarly writing.Proficiency in laboratory skills and safe operation of relevant experimental equipment.Solid background in bioinformatics, photonics, or computer science disciplines (better multiple).Competence in data analysis, including the use of statistical or computational tools.PhD in Molecular biology/ Physics/ or Computer Science related field, awarded or near completion.Excellent written and spoken English; additional language skills are an advantage.Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment and manage multiple projects.Track record of publications in peer-reviewed journals is highly desirable.
