Postdoctoral Researcher in Fungal Infections & Innate ImmunityWe are looking for a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join our team at the Research Center for Respiratory Diseases (CEPR), Inserm U1100, University of Tours, France.🍄 Research projectOur team studies the pathophysiology of lung infections caused by fungal, viral, and bacterial pathogens.The successful candidate will investigate the mechanisms underlying the innate immune response to Aspergillus fumigatus, with particular emphasis on how A. fumigatus adapts and evolves within the pulmonary microenvironment and in response to treatment, and how these adaptations influence its interactions with the host immune system.The project will combine approaches in immunology, mycology, genetics, cell biology, imaging, flow cytometry, and genomics to better understand host–pathogen interactions during pulmonary aspergillosis.The position is part of a multidisciplinary consortium funded by the French National Research Agency (ANR) and offers access to cutting-edge facilities, including imaging, flow cytometry and cell sorting, genomics, and mass spectrometry.🔬👩‍🔬 👨‍🔬 We are looking for candidates with:

• A Ph.D. in immunology, microbiology, cell biology, or a related field
• A strong background in microbiology/mycology, infectious diseases, innate immunity, and/or host–pathogen interactions
• Experience with genetic approaches and in vitro cell culture
• Experience with imaging, biochemistry, flow cytometry, and/or animal models is desirable
