Position SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team working on next-generation fuel cell technologies. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on experimental expertise in hydrogen fuel cell systems, with a focus on advancing clean energy solutions through materials design and electrochemical performance optimisation.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and execute experimental setups and analyse results for hydrogen fuel cell evaluation and performance testingConduct electrochemical characterisation (e.g., polarisation, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), cyclic voltammetry (CV), and linear sweep voltammetry (LSV)) using a rotating disk electrode (RDE) and an electrochemical workstationSynthesise, characterise, and integrate novel materials and catalysts, such as single-atom catalysts, into fuel cell systemsPrepare high-impact scientific publications, presentations, technical reports, and research proposalsCollaborate with interdisciplinary team members and mentor graduate students in laboratory safety and protocolsQualifications and RequirementsPhD in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a closely related fieldProven hands-on experimental experience with hydrogen fuel cell fabrication, assembly, and testingDemonstrated proficiency in laboratory-scale electrochemical evaluation and analytical techniquesPreferred QualificationsPrior research experience with methanol fuel cells (Direct Methanol Fuel Cells, DMFCs)Hands-on experience in the synthesis and functionalisation of Metal-Organic Framework (MOF) materialsPublication record in peer-reviewed journals in electrochemistry, fuel cells, or materials chemistry
