Power BI & Reporting Specialist – Cyber SecurityLocation: UAE, SharjahExperience: 5+ YearsJob PurposeWe are looking for an experienced Senior Power BI & Reporting Specialist to support Cyber Security Sales & Delivery through advanced business intelligence, data analytics, dashboard development, and executive reporting.The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and presenting project and business performance data, ensuring that accurate and timely insights are available to senior management and key stakeholders.This is a hands-on role requiring strong expertise in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, data modeling, dashboard development, data visualization, and executive-level PowerPoint reporting.Key Responsibilities1. Power BI Dashboard Development & ReportingDesign, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports for senior management and business stakeholders.Build scalable and efficient data models using Power BI, DAX, and Power Query.Develop complex calculations, KPIs, performance metrics, and management scorecards.Create dashboards that provide clear and actionable insights into project and business performance.Optimize Power BI dashboards and reports for performance, usability, accuracy, and scalability.Maintain and continuously improve existing dashboards based on evolving business requirements.2. Data Analysis & Business IntelligenceCollect, clean, transform, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources.Translate complex datasets into meaningful business insights and actionable recommendations.Develop automated reporting solutions to improve operational efficiency and management decision-making.Ensure data accuracy, consistency, integrity, and reliability across dashboards and reports.Identify data gaps, reporting inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement.Develop and monitor business and project KPIs to support performance management.Provide data-driven recommendations to improve business and project performance.3. Executive Reporting & PresentationsDevelop professional executive-level PowerPoint presentations for senior management.Transform analytical findings into clear management summaries, visualizations, and data-driven conclusions.Apply effective data storytelling techniques to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.Prepare project performance reports, KPI reports, management dashboards, and executive presentations.Ensure reports and presentations are visually professional, accurate, and suitable for senior-level stakeholders.4. Stakeholder & Requirements ManagementWork closely with senior management, project managers, and cross-functional teams to understand reporting requirements and business objectives.Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into effective BI and reporting solutions.Collaborate with stakeholders across Business, Technology, Finance, Procurement, HR, and Project Delivery teams.Support the standardization and continuous improvement of reporting processes.Recommend appropriate KPIs, reporting structures, dashboards, and analytical approaches based on business requirements.Communicate analytical findings and reporting insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in Business Intelligence, Power BI, Data Analytics, MIS, or Reporting.Expert-level hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI.Strong practical knowledge of:DAXPower QueryData ModelingDashboard DevelopmentKPI DevelopmentData VisualizationAutomated ReportingAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, particularly in developing executive and senior-management presentations.Strong experience working with multiple data sources and large datasets.Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.Ability to simplify complex data and communicate clear, actionable business insights.Strong stakeholder communication and requirements-gathering skills.Preferred Qualifications & SkillsExperience with SQL and/or Python for data analysis and reporting.Exposure to other BI and visualization tools such as Tableau or Qlik.Knowledge or experience with Microsoft Access.PMP certification is an advantage.MBA or other relevant postgraduate qualification is preferred.Previous experience within Cyber Security, Technology, Telecom, Project Delivery, PMO, or large corporate environments would be advantageous.Mandatory Technical AssessmentPlease Note: As part of the recruitment and selection process, shortlisted candidates will be required to complete a mandatory technical assessment.Candidates must successfully pass the assessment to be eligible to proceed to the next stage of the recruitment process and for their profile to be considered further.The assessment may evaluate practical knowledge and hands-on proficiency in areas including:Microsoft Power BIDAXPower QueryData ModelingDashboard DevelopmentData AnalysisData VisualizationKPI & Management ReportingOnly candidates who successfully meet the required assessment criteria will be eligible to proceed further in the selection process.Key Technical SkillsPower BI | DAX | Power Query | Data Modeling | Dashboard Development | Business Intelligence | Data Analytics | Data Visualization | KPI Reporting | Management Reporting | Executive Reporting | Automated Reporting | PowerPoint | SQL | Python | Tableau | Qlik | Microsoft AccessIdeal Candidate ProfileWe are looking for a hands-on Power BI and Business Intelligence professional, rather than someone whose experience is limited to preparing standard reports.The ideal candidate should be capable of independently developing sophisticated Power BI dashboards, working with complex datasets, creating advanced DAX calculations and data models, and translating analytical findings into clear executive-level insights.The candidate should also be comfortable working directly with senior management and cross-functional stakeholders to understand business requirements and convert them into effective reporting and BI solutions.
