More information on NewCold can be found on www.newcold.com and our social media.About Job:We are looking for a Power BI Developer / BI Analyst to design, build, and maintain impactful dashboards and reports that support data-driven decision-making across sites, regions, and corporate teams.The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Fabric, with a solid understanding of data modelling, DAX, SQL, data pipelines, semantic models, and performance optimization. The role requires someone who can translate complex business requirements into intuitive dashboards, robust data models, and actionable insights.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and build interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI DesktopApply standardized layouts, themes, and visualization best practicesEnable drill-downs, filters, and role-based views for different user groupsDevelop paginated (pixel-perfect) reports for operational or regulatory needsValidate report data against source systems (e.g., Corax, MLS, WMS)Identify and resolve data inconsistencies, missing data, and logic issuesStrong understanding of the Microsoft Fabric platform and its architecture.Design and develop scalable data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric Data FactoryBuild and maintain Lakehouse and Data Warehouse solutions within Microsoft FabricCreate semantic models and optimize data models for performanceUnderstand business processes and translate business questions into clear reporting requirements, KPIs, and metricsCollaborate with data engineers and source system owners on data quality fixesPublish datasets and reports to Power BI ServiceManage refresh schedules and resolve production incidentsMaintain and enhance existing dashboards as business needs evolveSupport end users, train key users/site champions, and gather feedbackContribute to benchmarking and continuous improvement initiatives across sitesRequired SkillsStrong experience with Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service & Fabric understanding of data modelling, DAX, and performance optimizationExperience validating data against enterprise source systemsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work with both technical and business stakeholdersWhat Success Looks LikeReliable and high-performing Power BI dashboards used effectively across sites, regions, and corporate functions.Accurate and trusted reporting aligned with source-system data.Scalable Microsoft Fabric data and semantic-model solutions.Improved reporting performance and reduced manual reporting effort.Consistent BI standards and KPIs across the organization.Note: Candidates residing in nearby locations viz; Thanisandra, Hebbal, Yelahanka, Nagawara, Sahakar Nagar, Manyata Tech Park, Hegde Nagar or Jakkur will be preferred.
