Power BI Developer / BI AnalystLocation: Hyderabad, Telangana, IndiaExperience: 5–8 YearsEmployment Type: Full-TimeJob SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Power BI Developer / BI Analyst with strong expertise in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, SQL Server, BigQuery, ETL, Data Modeling, Reporting, and Dashboarding. The ideal candidate should be able to build scalable data models, develop interactive dashboards, optimize report performance, and work closely with business stakeholders to deliver data-driven insights.Key ResponsibilitiesData Integration & ManagementExtract, transform, and load data from SQL Server, Excel, BigQuery, and other sources.Perform data transformation using Power Query including merging, appending, filtering, and cleansing.Build relationships between fact and dimension tables and develop efficient data models.Integrate data from cloud platforms including GCP and Azure.Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.Power BI Development & ReportingDesign, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.Develop DAX measures, calculated columns, KPIs, and analytical calculations.Implement visual, page-level, report-level filters, RLS, drill-through, bookmarks, and tooltips.Configure scheduled refresh and monitor data availability.Create business-focused visualizations based on stakeholder requirements.Stakeholder CollaborationWork with business users, product managers, and leadership to understand reporting requirements.Gather, document, and translate business requirements into BI solutions.Present dashboards and insights to stakeholders.Collaborate with data engineering teams to improve data pipelines and reporting efficiency.Conduct knowledge-sharing and training sessions when required.Performance & OptimizationOptimize DAX queries, data models, dashboards, and report performance.Troubleshoot data refresh failures and reporting issues.Identify and resolve data discrepancies and query performance bottlenecks.Follow Power BI and data visualization best practices.Automation & Continuous ImprovementAutomate manual reporting processes.Develop Power Automate workflows for refresh alerts and notifications.Explore AI-powered analytics and forecasting capabilities within Power BI.Stay updated with Power BI features and BI best practices.Must-Have SkillsPower BIDAXPower QueryData ModelingSQL ServerBigQueryETL / Data PipelinesReporting & DashboardingData VisualizationStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsGood-to-Have SkillsMySQLPower AutomateGCP / AzureExcel & PowerPointAI-powered analytics and forecastingExperience working with cloud-based data platformsPreferred Candidate Profile5–8 years of experience in Power BI / Business Intelligence / Data Analytics.Strong hands-on experience developing Power BI dashboards and reports.Strong knowledge of DAX, Power Query, SQL, and data modeling.Experience working with BigQuery and SQL Server.Good understanding of ETL processes and data pipelines.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Email - abhishek.goswami@thedigitalloom.com
