Senior Power BI Developer Location: JaipurExperience: 3 to 4+ yearsJoining: Immediate joiners preferredEmployment type: Full-timeAbout the RoleWe are looking for a Senior Power BI Developer who can turn business data into clear, reliable dashboards and reports. The person should be strong in Power BI, SQL, data modelling, and dashboard design. This role will work closely with business teams to understand reporting needs, build data models, create dashboards, and make sure data is accurate and easy to use.Key Responsibilities Build, maintain, and improve Power BI dashboards and reports for different business requirements.Design data models, relationships, calculated columns, and measures using DAX.Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and validation.Connect Power BI with databases, Excel files, APIs, and other data sources.Knowledge of Power BI Service, gateways, row-level security, and scheduled refreshWork with business users to understand reporting needs and convert them into usable dashboards.Create clean and user-friendly dashboard layouts with the right KPIs, filters, drill-downs, and visuals.Perform data checks to ensure reports are accurate and consistent.Improve dashboard performance by optimizing DAX, data models, and queries.Manage Power BI workspace, datasets, refresh schedules, access, and publishing.Experience handling large datasets and improving report performance.Document report logic, data sources, and key assumptions where needed. Required Skills 3 to 4+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI.Strong SQL knowledge, including joins, aggregations, CTEs, stored procedures, and query optimization.Good experience in data modelling, star schema, relationships, and Power Query.Strong knowledge of DAX for measures, calculated columns, and time intelligence.Experience building dashboards for business teams such as sales, finance, operations, HR, or management.Ability to understand raw data and convert it into meaningful insights.Good communication skills and comfort working directly with stakeholders.Strong attention to detail and ownership of report accuracy.Preferred Candidate Profile We are looking for someone who can work independently, ask the right questions, and build dashboards that business users can actually rely on.
