Power BI Developer

Role: Power BI DeveloperLocation: McLean, VA 22102 (100% Onsite)Summary:Reporting to the VP of Analytics, the Power BI Developer will support enterprise reporting across Operations, Clinical, and Finance domains. This role is responsible for translating business and clinical requirements into governed, scalable Power BI solutions while maintaining and enhancing existing reports within our analytics ecosystem. This position combines strong technical expertise with the ability to partner closely with SMEs, business stakeholders, and data engineering teams in a regulated healthcare environment. This is a hands-on delivery role, not an architecture or people-management position.Required Education and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related fieldMinimum 7+ years of experience developing Power BI reports and dashboards in a professional settingSolid working knowledge of SQL, including joins, aggregations, and basic query optimizationHands-on experience with DAX, including measures and calculated columnAbility to work directly with business stakeholders to gather and refine requirementsExperience supporting production BI reports and responding to user issuesPreferred Qualifications:Healthcare industry experience (clinical, operational, or financial reporting)Familiarity with HIPAA, PHI handling, and data security best practicesExposure to Azure-based data platforms (Azure SQL, Synapse, Fabric, etc.)Thanks,SIVA#sivak@arkhyatech.com
