Power Plant Operator/Technician

Key ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive and routine maintenance on turbines, boilers, generators, transformers, pumps and auxiliary systems.Diagnose equipment faults and carry out repairs and corrective maintenance.Respond to breakdowns, power outages and emergency maintenance requirements.Conduct equipment testing, calibration and adjustments.Use technical drawings, schematics, manuals and diagnostic/test equipment for troubleshooting.Monitor equipment condition and identify potential failures.Maintain maintenance logs and update CMMS records.Follow plant HSE procedures and operational standards.Support reliability, predictive and continuous-improvement activities.RequirementsHigh School Diploma or equivalent.Experience maintaining/repairing power generation equipment preferred.Candidates from electrical, mechanical or industrial maintenance backgrounds can also be considered.Knowledge of electrical/mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics and instrumentation.Strong troubleshooting and equipment-maintenance skills.
