This is a full-time, 6-month internship that offers the opportunity to contribute to pharma&’s commercial and analytical operations in a meaningful way. You will design, build, and maintain enterprise business intelligence solutions that turn complex data into clear, actionable insights for commercial, financial, and operational decisions.Essential Job FunctionsPower BI Development (Primary Focus)Design, build, and maintain end-to-end Power BI reports and dashboards, from requirements through production deployment.Build robust Power BI semantic / data models — relationships, hierarchies, and star-schema design.Author governed, reusable DAX measures, calculation groups, and time-intelligence aligned to approved KPIs.Clean and transform raw data using Power Query (M) for accurate, reliable reporting.Create intuitive dashboards with clean, modern UI, and optimize for performance, scalability, and refresh efficiency.Manage workspaces, scheduled refreshes, row-level security (RLS), permissions, and deployment.SQL & DataWrite and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and validation.Partner with Data Engineering on analytics-ready data structures, consistent grain, and data quality.Python (Supporting)Use Python for data preparation, automation, and lightweight scripting that supports the BI workflow.Education and Experience Power BI — Primary RequirementCurrently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field Experience in DAX (complex measures, time intelligence) and semantic / data modeling (star schema, grain management).Power Query (M), visualization best practices, and report performance optimization.Hands-on with Power BI Service, workspaces, gateways, datasets, scheduled refresh, and RLS.Hands-on SQL querying, transformation, and performance tuning for Power BI datasets.Good understanding of database and data warehousing concepts.Working knowledge of Python for data preparation, automation, and scripting.Can demonstrate a PowerBI report during the interview processDesirable (but not required)Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, pipelines) and Azure data services.ETL / ELT processes; exposure to financial or operational datasets.Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD deployment pipelines, and AI & ML features in Power BI.What we Offer · Hands-on experience with real-world data and strategic initiatives · Exposure to global commercial operations · Mentorship and professional development opportunities · Monthly stipend of 15000/- · Interns may support preparation for industry conferences.
