Apply & track with Apply EdgeJob SummaryBiodeal Pharmaceutical Ltd. is looking for an experienced PPIC Manager / Sr Manager to lead and manage Production Planning and Inventory Control activities. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring effective production planning, optimum inventory levels, timely material availability, and smooth coordination across departments to support contract manufacturing operations.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the end-to-end Production Planning and Inventory Control (PPIC) function.Prepare and monitor monthly, weekly and daily production plans based on customer orders, forecasts and production capacity.Coordinate with Sales/Business Development, Production, Purchase, QA, QC, Warehouse, R&D and Finance teams to ensure smooth execution of production plans.Ensure timely availability of Raw Materials, Packing Materials and other required resources as per production schedules.Monitor inventory levels and maintain optimum stock to avoid shortages, excess inventory and production delays.Develop and implement effective planning strategies for contract manufacturing orders and multiple customer requirements.Track order status and ensure timely execution and delivery commitments.Monitor production capacity, machine availability and manpower requirements for effective planning.Identify potential bottlenecks and take proactive action to minimize production disruptions.Coordinate with the Purchase team for timely procurement of materials.Monitor slow-moving, non-moving and excess inventory and develop plans for effective inventory utilization.Prepare and analyze PPIC reports, production plans, inventory reports and MIS for management review.Ensure accurate data management and reporting through ERP systems.Drive improvements in planning accuracy, inventory control and overall supply chain efficiency.Lead, guide and manage the PPIC team and ensure effective departmental coordination.Develop and implement PPIC processes, SOPs and KPIs.Ensure compliance with company policies, quality systems and pharmaceutical manufacturing requirements.Required Qualifications & ExperienceGraduate/Postgraduate in Pharmacy, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations or a related field.10–12 years of relevant experience in PPIC, Production Planning, Supply Chain or Inventory Control.Prior experience in the Pharmaceutical / Contract Manufacturing / CDMO industry is mandatory/preferred.Experience in managing production planning for multiple products and customers.Strong understanding of MRP, inventory management, capacity planning and production scheduling.Experience working with ERP systems.Excellent analytical, leadership, communication and cross-functional coordination skills.Strong command of MS Excel and MIS reporting.Key SkillsPPIC | Production Planning | Inventory Control | MRP | Capacity Planning | Demand Planning | Production Scheduling | Supply Chain Management | ERP | Inventory Optimization | Pharmaceutical Manufacturing | Contract Manufacturing | Team Management | SOP Development | MIS Reporting
