Practice Operations Intern – Ukrainian-speaking

About the RoleTandartspraktijk Palladino is looking for a motivated Practice Operations Intern to support the daily operations of our dental practice in Amsterdam.This role combines practice administration, patient communication and operational support, with a particular focus on assisting and welcoming our Ukrainian-speaking patients.You will work closely with the practice management team, dentists and dental assistants to help ensure that the clinic operates efficiently and that patients receive clear and professional support throughout their visit.Main ResponsibilitiesYour responsibilities will include:Supporting the daily operations of the dental practiceWelcoming patients and assisting with front-desk activitiesProviding dedicated support to Ukrainian-speaking patientsCommunicating with Ukrainian-speaking patients by phone, WhatsApp, email and in personHelping patients understand appointment procedures, treatment-related administrative information and practice proceduresAssisting with translation and communication between Ukrainian-speaking patients and the practice team when necessaryScheduling, confirming and rescheduling patient appointmentsSupporting patient registration and administrative processesMaintaining accurate patient and appointment information in the practice management systemHelping the team manage appointment schedules and follow-upsSupporting patient recall and communication activitiesAssisting with general administrative and operational tasksSupporting practice management with day-to-day projects and process improvementsHelping ensure a professional, organised and patient-friendly environment within the clinicRequirementsWe are looking for someone who:Speaks Ukrainian fluentlyHas good working proficiency in EnglishDutch language skills are an advantage but are not mandatoryIs currently studying or looking for a relevant internship in areas such as business, healthcare management, hospitality, administration, communication or a related fieldIs comfortable communicating with patientsIs organised, responsible and detail-orientedIs comfortable working with computers and learning new softwareHas good communication and interpersonal skillsCan work independently while also collaborating with a multidisciplinary teamIs interested in healthcare operations and practice managementPrevious experience in a dental practice or healthcare environment is not required.
