Pre-Sales Engineer – Cloud Native & Private Cloud (Kubernetes / PaaS)

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Pre-Sales Engineer based in Jakarta to join our team. In this remote-first role with occasional client visits, you will serve as the technical bridge between our enterprise clients and product teams, specializing in cloud native architecture, Kubernetes, and enterprise PaaS deployments in private cloud environments.Key Responsibilities:Partner with the sales team to identify business opportunities and deliver technical solutions, project proposals, bids, POCs, and architecture designs.Provide on-site technical guidance, trial support, and troubleshooting for enterprise clients.Gather client requirements and feedback to inform back-end product and R&D roadmaps.Participate in tech events, industry webinars, and technical presentations.Collaborate with local technology partners and ecosystem channels.Qualifications & Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).Proven track record in IT pre-sales, technical consulting, or enterprise architecture.Deep technical expertise in PaaS platform design/build in Private Cloud environments (e.g., Red Hat OpenShift, VMware Tanzu, Rancher, or similar enterprise container platforms).Strong proficiency with Cloud Native ecosystem tools, Kubernetes, and DevOps methodologies.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both executive and technical audiences.Ability to work independently in a remote setting and travel to client sites around Jakarta as needed.
