Precast BIM Coordinator

Role Overview:Precast BIM Coordinator to develop, coordinate and manage 3D BIM models for precast structural and architectural elements across our development portfolio — supporting the Design Production Department from design intake through shop drawing production, factory manufacturing and site erection. You will work closely with our in-houseDesign Engineers, Senior Designers/Detailers and the Production team to ensure accurate, coordinated and constructible BIM models and drawings across all disciplines on landmark projects.Key Responsibilities· Develop and maintain 3D BIM models (Revit) for precast elements — columns, beams, wall panels, load- bearing walls, façade/cladding panels, hollow-core and solid slabs, staircases, balconies, parapets and otherstructural/architectural components. · Coordinate and federate models with Architectural, Structural and MEP disciplines; run clash detection in Navisworks and issue coordination/clash reports.· Extract general arrangement, element and production drawings from BIM models in line with project and factory documentation requirements.· Apply and maintain BIM standards, naming conventions, Levels of Detail (LOD) and modelling protocols in accordance with the project BIM Execution Plan (BEP).· Coordinate with Design Engineers and Detailers/Draftsmen to incorporate connection details, embedded items, inserts and reinforcement information into the model.· Support resolution of design and coordination issues raised through RFIs, consultant comments and internal design reviews.· Liaise with the Production Department to verify model information against mould, formwork,reinforcement and manufacturing requirements, and support QA/QC checks prior to issue.· Maintain model version control, revision tracking and drawing issue registers.· Provide model-based information to site/erection teams for erection sequencing and clash-free installation,and participate in design/BIM coordination meetings with consultants and internal teamsFunctional Pre-Requisites Skills:

• 5-8 years of total design/drafting experience, including 3+ years in BIM coordination or Revit modelling, ideally within the precast concrete or broader construction industry.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary BIM models (Architectural/Structural/MEP) on Villas, High-rise, Hospitality, Mixed-use, Residential or Industrial projects; UAE/GCC experiencepreferred.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and Navisworks (mandatory); working knowledge of AutoCAD; familiarity with Tekla Structures and common data environments (e.g. BIM 360/ACC) advantageous.
• Good understanding of precast detailing, connections, embedded items, and production/erection sequencing and constraints.
• Working knowledge of applicable standards and project specifications (ACI, PCI, BS/EN, UAE authority requirements) as relevant to modelling accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail, with good coordination and communication skills across design, production and site teams.Educational

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Architecture, Civil/Structural Engineering, or Construction Technology (BIM specialization advantageous)
