The CompanyGlobe 24-7, in partnership with a leading independent precious-metals research consultancies, is seeking a Precious Metals Research Analyst to join their team in London with a focus on the North American and Latin American precious-metals markets..The RoleThe role is primarily focused on the demand side of the precious-metals market, rather than mining-company or mine-level analysis.You will research and analyse developments across areas including gold and silver investment demand, retail bars and coins, jewellery, recycling, refining and other physical-market segments.A key part of the position will be developing relationships with market participants across the region. You will speak regularly with bullion dealers, refiners, banks, financial institutions, industry bodies, industrial users and other market participants to gather market intelligence and develop a deeper understanding of the market.You will combine this primary research with public data and quantitative analysis to produce market estimates, datasets, reports, presentations and client insights.The ResponsibilitiesResearch and analyse gold and silver markets across the US, Canada and selected Latin American markets.Develop and maintain quantitative datasets and market estimates covering precious-metals demand.Analyse investment demand, retail bars and coins, jewellery, recycling, refining and other relevant market segments.Conduct primary research through regular conversations with dealers, refiners, banks, investors, industry participants and other stakeholders.Build and maintain a strong network of industry contacts across the region.Identify new sources of market intelligence and independently develop relationships with relevant organisations and individuals.Triangulate public data, proprietary information and primary research to form robust market estimates and conclusions.Contribute to regular reports, market updates, presentations and other research publications.Present research and market views to clients and industry participants.Participate in client meetings, conferences and industry events.The RequirementsWe are looking for an experienced analyst (Minimum 5-8+ years of experience ) with direct exposure to precious metals or physical commodity markets and a strong interest in understanding how the market operates.You may come from a background in:Precious-metals or commodity researchGold or silver market analysisPhysical precious-metals marketsBullion or precious-metals tradingCommodity market intelligenceFinancial or investment research with meaningful precious-metals exposureOther closely related market research rolesYou should have:Strong knowledge of gold and/or silver markets.Excellent quantitative and analytical skills.Experience interpreting both quantitative and qualitative market information.Strong written and verbal communication skills.The ability to conduct independent research and form well-supported market views.Confidence speaking with senior industry professionals and building relationships from scratch.Willingness to travel within the region.The RewardsThe position offers a competitive remuneration package.Contact UsPlease apply directly by submitting your resume, preferably as a Microsoft Word document
