You will serve as a trusted advisor, helping clients meet their financial goals while ensuring exceptional service and long-term partnership.This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to grow their banking career and potentially advance into leadership, sales, operations, or other consumer banking functions in the future.What You'll DoManage and grow a portfolio of small business banking deposit relationships.Protect and retain client deposits through proactive outreach and relationship management.Identify and address balances at risk through solution-based conversations and tailored recommendations.Serve as a trusted financial partner by recommending deposit, lending, and treasury management solutions.Generate new business through referrals, inbound opportunities, and targeted outreach efforts.Open new accounts and ensure timely funding of client relationships.Deepen client relationships through consultative cross-selling of banking products and services.Conduct pricing and rate discussions to maintain and expand client relationships.Resolve client inquiries, concerns, and escalations with urgency and professionalism.Consistently deliver value and service that positions the bank as the client's primary banking partner.Maintain accurate client records and follow all applicable banking regulations and procedures.Perform additional duties as assigned.Required QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of banking experience (flexible based on overall qualifications).Previous banker experience is required.Teller-only experience will not be considered.Strong relationship management and client-facing experience.Excellent communication and consultative sales skills.Ability to manage multiple client interactions in a fast-paced environment.Comfortable working toward growth, retention, and sales goals.Preferred QualificationsExperience in relationship management, client advisory, sales, or call center environments.Banking experience in retail, business banking, consumer banking, or auto finance.Proven ability to retain clients and grow existing relationships.Experience handling high volumes of customer interactions.Demonstrated success in cross-selling products and services.Background working with affluent, high-net-worth, lending, deposit, or business banking clients.Work EnvironmentFully onsite position in San Diego, CA.Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.Relationship management is primarily conducted via phone and virtual channels.No relocation assistance available.
