We are seeking a dynamic and visionary President/CEO to lead our organization, as well as inspire staff and volunteers, and make sure the people we serve receive the highest quality programs and care. This role demands an energetic leader who excels in collaboration with board members, managing high-performing teams, and driving operational excellence across all departments. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in strategic management, non-profit and/or corporate leadership, and financial stewardship to propel the organization toward it's ambitious goals.The President/CEO reports to the Board of Directors and will have overall strategic and operational responsibility for the agency's staff, programs, expansion, and execution of its mission. This is a full-time, exempt position.Position Essential Duties:Ensure ongoing local programmatic excellence, rigorous program evaluation, and consistent quality of finance and administration, fundraising, communications, and systemsEstablish an employee-oriented workplace culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, key employee retention, development and high performance.Recommend resources and timeliness needed to achieve the agency’s overall strategic goalsDevelop, maintain, and support a strong Board of Directors and serve as ex-officio of each committeeAssist the Board of Directors in developing and implementing board policiesSeek and build Board of Directors’ involvement with strategic direction for ongoing operationsActively engage and energize volunteers, board members, partnering organizations, and fundersEffectively lead, coach, develop, and retain high-performance senior management teamAssist senior management team in developing and implementing agency and program specific policiesProvide oversight of annual agency wide budget with Finance Director and Program ManagersEnsure fiduciary responsibility and sound financial managementProvide the Board of Directors with timely and accurate reports and recommendationsEnsure effective systems to track scaling progress, and regularly evaluate program components to measure successes that can be effectively communicated to the board, funders, and other constituentsExpand local revenue generating and fundraising activities to support existing programs and operationsDeepen and refine all aspects of communications from web presence to external relations with goal of creating a stronger brandBuild partnerships and establish relationships with funders, political, and community leadersServe as lead spokesperson and promote agency’s mission in all interactions throughout the communityPOSITION ANCILLARY DUTIES:Represent the agency by attending other not-for-profit fundraising events throughout the communityPerform other duties as assigned by Board of DirectorsQUALIFICATIONS:Masters Degree in Social Services, Business, or Human ServicesMinimum five years of Not-for-Profit Director experience preferredProven leadership, coaching, and relationship management experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skills; persuasive and passionate communicatorExcellent interpersonal and multi-disciplinary project skillsStrong marketing, public relations, and fundraising experience to engage a wide range of stakeholdersAbility to cultivate board member relationships and facilitate board development as neededAbility to work effectively in collaboration with diverse groups of peoplePossess passion, idealism, integrity, positive attitude, be mission-driven and self-directedThis is an exciting opportunity for a passionate leader eager to make a meaningful impact through strategic visioning, operational excellence, and collaborative leadership.
