President - Software Solutions Group

Position OverviewThe Software Solution Group President will be responsible for leading the organization's overall IT strategy, technology infrastructure and digital transformation initiatives.The role will oversee enterprise applications, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP, Point of Sale (POS) systems, CRM, mobile applications, IT infrastructure, data analytics, IoT and information security.The position will play a critical role in aligning technology with business priorities, driving operational efficiency, strengthening digital capabilities and ensuring seamless integration of technology across corporate functions and retail operations.Key Responsibilities1. IT Strategy & Digital TransformationDevelop and execute the organisation's IT strategy in alignment with business objectives and long-term growth plans.Partner with senior leadership and business stakeholders to identify technology requirements and drive digital transformation initiatives.Evaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, customer experience and business performance.Drive IT governance, budgeting, resource planning and technology investments.2. Enterprise Applications – ERP & POSLead the implementation, configuration, customisation and ongoing management of Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP and POS systems.Ensure effective deployment and integration of ERP solutions across key business functions, including Retail Operations, Finance, Supply Chain and Procurement.Drive system optimisation, process automation and workflow improvements to enhance business productivity.Ensure system stability, scalability, user adoption and effective vendor management.3. Digital Platforms, Applications & Systems IntegrationOversee the development, implementation and maintenance of key digital platforms, including:CRM platforms such as Salesforce.Customer-facing mobile applications for loyalty and ordering.Corporate website and digital platforms.Data warehouse, business intelligence and analytics solutions.IoT solutions and technology-enabled retail applications.Video and audio surveillance systems.Drive seamless integration across enterprise applications to ensure data accuracy, consistency and efficient information flow.Collaborate with business teams to leverage technology for improving customer engagement and operational effectiveness.4. IT Infrastructure & OperationsLead the design, implementation and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud services, hardware and end-user computing.Ensure high availability, reliability, scalability and performance of IT systems across corporate offices and retail locations.Establish robust IT service management processes, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues and uninterrupted business operations.Oversee infrastructure upgrades, technology refreshes, disaster recovery and business continuity planning.5. Information Security, Risk & ComplianceDevelop and implement IT security policies, standards and controls to safeguard organisational data, systems and digital assets.Ensure effective management of cybersecurity risks, data privacy, access controls and vulnerability assessments.Establish business continuity and disaster recovery frameworks.Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, internal policies and industry best practices.Conduct periodic IT audits and risk assessments to strengthen the organisation's security posture.6. Team Leadership & Stakeholder ManagementBuild, lead and develop a high-performing IT team with clear roles, responsibilities and performance objectives.Provide strategic direction, coaching and professional development opportunities to team members.Manage relationships with technology partners, service providers and external consultants.Work closely with business leaders and functional heads to ensure effective delivery of IT projects and services.Drive a culture of accountability, collaboration, service excellence and continuous improvement.Qualifications & ExperienceMBA post bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline. A postgraduate qualification or relevant technology certifications would be an advantage.15+ years of overall IT experience, including significant experience in senior IT leadership roles.Prior experience in Retail, FMCG, QSR, Hospitality or other multi-location businesses will be preferred.Strong hands-on exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP and POS implementation and management.Comprehensive understanding of enterprise applications, CRM platforms, mobile applications, website management, IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, IoT, data analytics and cybersecurity.Proven experience in leading large-scale IT transformation, systems integration and enterprise technology implementations.Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions.Strong strategic thinking, leadership, stakeholder management, vendor management and problem-solving capabilities.
