Confidential Opportunity | Pricing Analyst – FinTech / PaymentsA leading payments organization is seeking a Pricing Analyst to join its commercial strategy function and play a key role in optimizing merchant profitability, pricing decisions, and revenue performance across its acquiring business.This is a commercially focused analytics role, partnering closely with Sales, Finance, Product, and Operations teams to evaluate merchant pricing proposals, identify margin improvement opportunities, and support data-driven commercial decisions.The successful candidate will have strong analytical capability combined with an understanding of merchant acquiring economics, MDR, interchange, scheme fees, transaction pricing, and profitability modelling.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze merchant pricing proposals, renewals, and commercial opportunities to ensure competitive yet profitable outcomes.Build pricing and profitability models across SME, mid-market, enterprise, and strategic merchant segments.Evaluate MDR, transaction fees, rentals, value-added services, and bundled pricing structures.Conduct merchant and portfolio profitability analysis to identify revenue leakage, margin opportunities, and repricing potential.Assess the impact of interchange, scheme fees, card mix, MCC, and transaction behaviors on profitability.Support pricing governance, approval processes, and commercial controls.Develop pricing dashboards, MIS reporting, and management insights to support strategic decisions.Ideal Candidate 3–6 years’ experience in pricing, commercial analytics, finance, payments, banking, fintech, or related analytical roles.Strong understanding of merchant acquiring, card payments, MDR, interchange, and scheme fee structures.Advanced Excel skills with experience building financial models and analyzing complex datasets.Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, SQL, or similar is advantageous.Strong commercial mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations.Excellent stakeholder management skills and confidence working with commercial and operational teams.Why This Role?This is an opportunity to join a fast-growing payments environment where your analysis will directly influence pricing strategy, merchant profitability, and commercial growth.Interested candidates are invited to apply.
