Pricing and Procurement Specialist

Team members join a growing organization that values expertise, customer service, and operational excellence.Key Responsibilities:Manage pricing and procurement for Ocean, Air, and Cross-Border Road freight.Prepare competitive quotations for RFQs and RFPs within agreed turnaround times.Negotiate rates with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, and overseas agents.Prepare accurate cost sheets covering origin, freight, destination, and local charges.Evaluate transit time, free time, validity, capacity, equipment, surcharges, and routing risks.Calculate selling rates, GP values, and GP margins accurately.Recommend alternative routes, carriers, and service options based on market conditions.Maintain rate databases and monitor quotation competitiveness and lost-business reasons.Prevent underquoting, missing charges, expired rates, and margin leakage. Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.Hands-on experience in freight forwarding pricing and procurement.Strong knowledge of Ocean, Air, and Cross-Border Road freight.Strong negotiation, analytical, and supplier relationship management skills.Good knowledge of freight pricing, cost structures, and margin management.Proficiency in MS Excel and freight/rate management systems is preferred.Core Competencies:Freight Pricing & QuotationProcurement & Supplier NegotiationFreight ForwardingMultimodal TransportationCost & Margin AnalysisRFQ & RFP ManagementRate ManagementCommercial AwarenessSupplier Relationship ManagementMarket & Competitor AnalysisProblem SolvingCross-Functional CoordinationLocation:Jeddah - Saudi Arabia
