This position plays a key role in developing competitive pricing strategies, maintaining product data integrity, supporting new product launches, and providing analytical insights that drive profitable growth.The ideal candidate combines strong Excel and analytical skills with a market research mindset and an interest in both pricing strategy and product management. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, forecasting trends, evaluating margins, and influencing business decisions in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.Job DescriptionAs the Pricing and Product Analyst, you will be responsible for managing product pricing, maintaining product information across systems, conducting competitive market analysis, and supporting the introduction of new products. Working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, operations, and accounting teams, you will help ensure products are priced competitively, data remains accurate, and business decisions are supported by meaningful analysis.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and maintain product pricing to support competitiveness and profitability.Analyze product costs, margins, and market conditions to recommend pricing adjustments.Create forecasts and pricing models to support business planning and decision-making.Monitor competitor pricing and industry trends to identify opportunities and risks.Conduct market research and benchmarking to inform pricing and product strategies.Maintain accurate product data, specifications, pricing, and SKU information across business systems.Support new product launches, including SKU setup, product data management, and inventory planning.Analyze product sales and inventory performance to identify opportunities for optimization.Coordinate custom and special-order requests, including pricing, specifications, and vendor communication.Collaborate with sales, marketing, product, and accounting teams to support business objectives.Generate reports and insights using Excel and other analytical tools to support ongoing decision-making.QualificationsRequired Qualifications2+ years of experience in pricing, product management, purchasing, business analysis, or a related analytical role.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, modeling, and reporting.Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.Experience evaluating costs, margins, profitability, and pricing strategies.Ability to conduct market research and competitive pricing analysis.High attention to detail with strong organizational skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across departments.Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Economics, Supply Chain, or a related field.Experience in manufacturing, distribution, consumer products, industrial products, or related industries.Experience supporting product lifecycle management and new product introductions.Knowledge of CRM, ERP, or product information management systems.Experience with Salesforce, QuickBooks, or similar business platforms.Experience working with international suppliers or cross-cultural business partners.Familiarity with inventory planning, forecasting, and demand analysis.Knowledge of EOS/Traction or other business operating systems.BenefitsThis position offers an excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, along with a Health Savings Account (HSA) featuring a company match.
