Primary Care Physician

About the RoleAs a Primary Care Physician, you will evaluate, diagnose, treat, and manage patients through virtual care. You will provide care through a combination of video visits and asynchronous chat-based interactions, depending on the patient's needs and the clinical appropriateness of the encounter. You will be responsible for assessing patient concerns, reviewing medical history and relevant clinical information, developing appropriate treatment plans, prescribing when clinically appropriate, and providing follow-up care.Our dedicated team operates under a CPOM-compliant corporate structure, manages 100% of patient logistics, scheduling, clinical customer support, and administrative coordination, allowing clinicians to focus exclusively on clinical decision-making and patient care.Malpractice insurance is fully provided, giving you the confidence to practice while we support your clinical work.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide primary care through video visits and chat.Evaluate, diagnose, and treat common primary care conditions.Develop treatment plans and prescribe medications when clinically appropriate.Review relevant medical history, medications, labs, and diagnostic results.Provide patient education, follow-up care, and ongoing management.Identify cases requiring in-person care, specialist referral, or escalation.Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.Practice in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and clinical protocols.Qualifications RequiredActive, unrestricted Texas medical license.Current DEA registration, as applicable to prescribing responsibilities.Experience providing primary care in an outpatient, telehealth, or similar clinical setting.Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Comfortable providing care through both video and chat-based platforms.Strong documentation and time-management skills.
