Team members share a commitment to advancing exceptional care and improving lives for patients, colleagues, and communities.Role Description This full-time, on-site Primary Care Physician role is based in Gahanna, OH and supports the Community Primary Care practice. The physician provides comprehensive outpatient care, including preventive services, chronic disease management, and acute care for a diverse patient population. Daily responsibilities include conducting patient assessments, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, developing treatment plans, prescribing medications, and coordinating referrals to specialists. The role involves collaborating with an interdisciplinary care team, documenting in the electronic health record, and participating in quality improvement and population health initiatives. The physician is expected to engage in patient education, contribute to a culture of safety and inclusion, and support OSUP’s mission of delivering accessible, high-quality primary care.QualificationsDemonstrated expertise in Primary Care and Family Medicine, providing comprehensive care across the adult age spectrum.Board certification or board eligibility as a Primary Care Physician (e.g., Internal Medicine, Family Medicine) and an active, unrestricted medical license in Ohio or eligibility to obtain one.Strong clinical judgment, diagnostic skills, and proficiency with electronic health records and evidence-based guidelines.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to patient-centered care, teamwork, and cultural humility.Ability to work on-site in Gahanna, OH, including participation in practice schedules and potential extended or flexible hours as needed.Completion of an accredited residency program in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
