Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and physical examinationsDiagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditionsDevelop individualized treatment plans and prescribe appropriate therapiesOrder, interpret, and review diagnostic tests and laboratory resultsProvide preventive care, screenings, patient education, and care coordination

Qualifications

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family MedicineCurrent unrestricted New York State medical licenseActive New York State DEA registrationActive Medicaid enrollmentBLS certificationPrior experience using EPICStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced outpatient environmentAbility to complete charting and clinical documentation by the end of each workdayDesired Skills:Primary Care experienceExperience in Internal Medicine or Family MedicineExperience managing high patient volumes while maintaining quality careComfort working with other EMR systems
