Responsibilities include planning age-appropriate lesson plans, preparing teaching materials, and using interactive methods to build reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. The teacher will assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, maintain accurate records, and communicate regularly with parents and guardians. Additional duties include supporting co-curricular activities, participating in staff meetings and professional development, and contributing to a positive, inclusive classroom environment. This is a full-time, on-site role based at Birla Open Minds International School in Ambikapur.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong English Teaching and Teaching skills, with experience in primary or elementary education.Candidates should possess Lesson Planning and Education-related skills, including the ability to design structured, age-appropriate learning experiences.Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills for interacting with students, families, and colleagues.Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field; a B.Ed or equivalent teaching qualification is preferred.Experience with activity-based learning, student-centered pedagogy, and classroom management in a school setting.Ability to integrate basic educational technology and digital resources into classroom instruction.Strong organizational skills, patience, and a commitment to inclusive, gender-neutral, non-discriminatory teaching practices.Prior experience in an international or CBSE/ICSE/IB school environment is an advantage.
