Primary English Teacher

We are seeking a passionate, experienced, and dynamic Grade 3 PYP Homeroom Teacher with strong expertise in English to join our primary school team. The ideal candidate will have excellent English language and literacy teaching skills, with the ability to create engaging, inquiry-driven learning experiences that develop students' reading, writing, speaking, listening, and communication skills.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons aligned with the IB PYP framework, with a strong focus on English language and literacy.Develop students' reading comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, creative writing, spelling, and oral communication skills.Integrate English language learning into transdisciplinary units of inquiry.Design interactive learning activities that encourage critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and independent learning.Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs and abilities of students.Develop formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.Maintain accurate records of student achievement, progress, and developmental needs.Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes student agency and wellbeing.Communicate effectively with parents regarding students' academic progress and overall development.Collaborate with grade-level colleagues and the PYP team on curriculum planning, assessment, and moderation.Integrate digital tools and innovative teaching strategies to enhance student engagement.Uphold school policies, safeguarding standards, and child protection procedures.
