AI Software EngineerLocation: Hybrid(UAE)Type: Full-TimeAbout the RoleWe are working with an innovative technology company looking for an AI Software Engineer to join a high-performing engineering team building next-generation AI-powered applications.This is an opportunity to work on complex LLM-based systems, designing intelligent workflows and developing production-ready AI solutions that solve challenging real-world problems. You'll collaborate with software engineers, product teams and domain experts to build scalable, reliable AI capabilities while staying at the forefront of emerging technologies.ResponsibilitiesDesign, build and enhance production-grade LLM-powered applications.Develop prompt architectures and agentic AI workflows.Build evaluation frameworks and define meaningful metrics to measure model performance and reliability.Design and implement scalable software solutions using Python and modern engineering best practices.Integrate AI capabilities into existing platforms, services and backend systems.Prototype, test and productionise new AI features and model interactions.Improve quality, safety and observability through monitoring, testing and guardrails.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality technical solutions.Contribute to architecture discussions and share knowledge with the wider engineering team.Required Skills & ExperienceCommercial experience building complex LLM-based applications.Strong prompt engineering skills with experience designing agentic AI workflows.Experience creating evaluation frameworks, benchmarks and custom performance metrics for AI systems.Strong software engineering fundamentals with excellent Python development experience.Experience building scalable production systems.Familiarity with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines and modern software engineering practices.Passion for keeping up to date with the latest AI research and emerging technologies.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative engineering environment.Desirable ExperienceExperience working on production AI platforms.Understanding of model monitoring, evaluation and observability.Knowledge of software architecture and distributed systems.Experience collaborating across engineering, product and technical teams.What's on OfferFully remote working across the UAE.Competitive salary and benefits package.Flexible working hours.Annual learning and development budget.Home office equipment allowance.Opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI technology.Collaborative, high-performing engineering culture.Long-term career growth within an innovative technology business.
