Here, you’re encouraged to think boldly, challenge convention, and help move today’s products toward tomorrow’s possibilities.Primary Purpose:Own the Cloud & DevOps architecture strategy across Stolt-Nielsen.Define target-state architecture, standards, governance, and best practices for Azure, DevOps, CI/CD, IaC, observability, and platform engineering.Ensure cloud platforms are secure, scalable, reliable, and cost-efficient.Act as the technical authority for Cloud & DevOps, partnering with Engineering Managers on technical direction and architecture decisions.Guide divisional teams to align with enterprise cloud standards and target architecture.Key Responsibilities:Cloud Platform Architecture:Define and maintain Azure cloud architecture, landing zones, governance, and standards aligned to the Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF).Drive adoption of Infrastructure as Code (Bicep/Terraform), CI/CD pipelines, reusable modules, and automation standards.Establish observability, monitoring, logging, alerting, SRE, and operational excellence practices.Security, FinOps & Enterprise Architecture:Embed security-by-design, identity management, and governance controls into cloud platforms.Own cloud cost optimization, FinOps practices, and consumption governance.Contribute to enterprise architecture standards, technology roadmaps, and EAM tooling.Technical Leadership:Provide technical leadership, architecture guidance, and mentoring to engineering teams.Partner with Engineering Managers to establish engineering standards and quality benchmarks.Evaluate cloud platforms, tools, and vendors, supporting build-vs-buy and investment decisions.Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred).10+ years in Cloud, Infrastructure, DevOps Engineering, or Architecture.Strong Azure architecture experience, including:Landing ZonesNetworkingGovernanceCloud Adoption FrameworkHands-on expertise in:CI/CDAzure DevOpsGitHub ActionsBicep / TerraformExperience with:Observability & MonitoringSRE PracticesCloud Security & IAMFinOps & Cost OptimizationExperience leading cloud modernization and on-premises to cloud migrations.Top Technical Skills:Azure Cloud ArchitectureAzure Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF)Infrastructure as Code (Bicep/Terraform)CI/CD (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)SRE, Observability & Cloud Governance
