In this high-impact role, you will lead the technical direction for deep learning initiatives, utilizing drone and satellite data to optimize operations across RGE's global portfolio, including forestry, manufacturing, and renewable energy. This is a hands-on individual contributor role: you will set technical direction and mentor others, and prior people management is not required. Qualifications5+ years of professional experience developing Deep Learning/Computer Vision models deployed in production environments (3+ years with a PhD).Degree in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Computer Science or a related field; MS/PhD preferred.Expert proficiency in Python and frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and OpenCV.Track record of deploying models in real-world production environmentsTrack record of measuring success by business outcomes (ROI, efficiency), not model accuracy alone.Able to explain complex technical work clearly and concisely to non-technical stakeholders.
