As a leader of MathCo.’s U.S. organization, the candidate will oversee teams of Senior/Engagement Managers and consultants, executing cutting-edge analytical solutions for clients. The role involves institutionalizing data-driven insights and recommendations to bring customer strategies to life. The ideal candidate will initiate new client engagements, coach teams to transform mature client relationships, and drive sales and growth opportunities independently. They will manage client accounts, including P&L, resource planning, and escalations, while building CXO-level relationships and translating customer goals into actionable plans.Your responsibilities will include:Strong sales mindset to influence customers to partner with us Has a consulting mindset with the ability to lead PoV’s to customers and allow them to solve technical and business problems.Build a strong relationship with the global delivery head and deliver outstanding quality to customersLeading and overseeing the end-to-end data engineering strategy, including cloud migration and transformation, data architecture, and platform development.Managing and overseeing the P&L for data engineering initiatives, specifically with budgets around $10 million, ensuring cost-effective resource management and project delivery.Leading cross-functional teams, allocating resources effectively across global projects with 50+ members, ensuring optimal performance and team utilization.Driving business development, managing a portfolio of data engineering projects worth $2M to $10M+, identifying growth opportunities, and working closely with C-level stakeholders.Architecting and implementing cloud-based data platforms and pipelines.Overseeing large-scale data migrations, transitioning from legacy systems to modern, cloud-based architectures to optimize operational efficiencies.Working closely with engineering, IT, and business teams to design and execute data platforms that meet both technical and business needs.Skills Required15+ years in data engineering, with at least5+ years in a senior leadership role overseeing large-scale, complex data projects in CPG/Retail industry experience is preferred.Demonstrated experience in handling P&L for data engineering projects worth $10M+ and managing large project portfolios.Experience working with engineering stakeholders.Strong networking capability, coupled with a growth mindset focused on acquiring new customers and developing relationships with senior client stakeholders.Proven experience in developing and nurturing cross-functional and cross-cultural teams.High level of comfort in dealing with ambiguity and change; must be able to translate business gaps into analytics problems, define the analytical approach, deliver actionable insights, and operationalize recommendations.Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal teams, including in complex and sensitive environmentsRoleData Engineering PrincipalEducation / QualificationBachelor’s degree.Experience working with CPG/Retail clients preferred.Years of ExperienceMinimum of 15 years in data engineering, with at least 5years in a senior leadership role overseeing large-scale data projects.Being a MathemagicianEmbody MathCo’s culture and way of working.Demonstrate ownership and strive for excellence in delivering results.Actively engage and contribute to initiatives fostering company growth.Support diversity and appreciate different perspectives.RecognitionsPositioned as a Leader in Top Generative AI Service Providers – PeMa Quadrant 2023 by AIM Research.Recognized among Inspiring Workplaces in North America, 2023.Accredited for Inclusive Practices by Great Place to Work Institute, India.Recognized among India’s Best Workplaces™ for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging 2023 by Great Place To Work® India.For more information, please visit our website.
