The campus is designed as a vibrant, self-sustaining community that combines education, healthcare, and residential living with modern amenities and strong connectivity across Durgapur.Role Description The Principal/Dean – Allied Health Sciences will provide academic and administrative leadership for allied health programs, ensuring high standards in teaching, learning, and assessment. This full-time on-site role, based in Durgapur, includes overseeing curriculum development, accreditation and regulatory compliance, and continuous quality improvement of academic offerings. The role involves supervising faculty and staff, mentoring department heads, and fostering a collaborative, student-centered learning environment. The Principal/Dean will coordinate clinical training and industry partnerships, promote research and innovation, and manage budgets, resources, and strategic planning for the Allied Health Sciences division. Regular interaction with internal stakeholders and external regulatory bodies is expected to maintain institutional reputation and alignment with national and regional healthcare education standards.Qualifications Advanced academic credentials (preferably PhD or equivalent) in Allied Health Sciences or a closely related discipline, with a strong record of teaching and research.Demonstrated experience in academic administration, including curriculum design, program management, accreditation processes, and policy implementation in health sciences education.Proven leadership, team management, and mentoring skills, with the ability to build inclusive, high-performing academic and clinical teaching teams.Strong understanding of allied health education standards, clinical training requirements, and regulatory frameworks relevant to medical, nursing, and pharmaceutical education.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to collaborate with hospital leadership, industry partners, and regulatory authorities.Experience in driving research initiatives, promoting evidence-based practice, and supporting faculty and student scholarly activities.Competence in strategic planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and use of educational technologies and learning management systems.Commitment to ethical practice, learner-centered education, diversity, and equitable access to academic and clinical opportunities.Prior leadership experience as Principal, Dean, or equivalent in a recognized allied health or health sciences institution is highly desirable.
