At Styli, we aim to revolutionize fashion retail and bring unique experiences to our customers.Principal Engineer – WebWe are looking for a Principal Engineer – Web who is a strong hands-on technical leader with deep expertise in modern web technologies. The role will be responsible for driving web architecture, technical strategy, engineering excellence, and end-to-end delivery of complex products and platforms.Key Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and design discussions for scalable, high-performance web applications.
• Build products and platforms from scratch, starting from requirements and technical design through development, deployment, and production.
• Own the complete product lifecycle — requirements, architecture, development, testing, deployment, production, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership and solve complex engineering and architectural problems.
• Design and build applications using React, Next.js, Angular, Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Drive frontend architecture, scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.
• Strong understanding of SSR, CSR, SSG, hydration, and modern web architecture.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Backend, DevOps, and other engineering teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Mentor and coach senior engineers, help grow technical talent, and raise the overall engineering bar.
• Drive engineering best practices around code quality, testing, CI/CD, observability, performance, and reliability.
• Identify and address technical debt, scalability challenges, and architectural risks.
• Influence technical strategy and engineering decisions across multiple teams.
• Act as a technical owner for critical initiatives and ensure successful delivery with high quality and reliability.Required Skills
• Strong hands-on experience with React and Next.js.
• Good experience with Angular and Node.js.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, SSR, CSR, and modern web architecture.
• Strong hands-on experience with web performance optimization, SEO, accessibility, and observability.
• Experience with modern web deployment practices, CI/CD, and production deployments.
• Strong system design, architecture, scalability, and performance skills.
• Experience building and scaling large web applications/products from scratch.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and technical leadership skills.
• Ability to operate with SDE4 / Principal-level ownership, technical depth, and influence.Good to Have
• Experience with the MERN stack — MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js.
• Experience with cloud platforms and microservices.
• Experience working in large-scale, distributed, or high-growth product environments.
