We also offer specialty products covering specific requirements for E&C, Oil & Gas, and other project-driven organizations.Job SummaryRite Software is seeking a Senior Principal Functional Solution Architect to lead solution architecture and design for Oracle Fusion Cloud Project Portfolio Management (PPM) engagements, with hands-on exposure to Oracle Fusion Financials modules. This is a senior, client-facing architecture and practice leadership role, spanning greenfield implementations, ERP-to-Cloud migrations, multi-country roll-outs, and AMS (Application Management Services) engagements. The role encompasses ownership of the PPM Center of Excellence (COE), management of multiple client accounts, portfolio governance, solution advisory for pursuits, and executive-level advisory across our client portfolio. Candidates with exposure to the Engineering & Construction (E&C) domain will have an edge, though it is not mandatory.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the Oracle Fusion PPM practice and lead the Center of Excellence (COE) to build and continuously improve PPM expertise across delivery teamsOwn end-to-end solution architecture for Oracle Fusion Cloud Project Portfolio Management (PPM) implementations, product developments, and AMS engagements, including Project Financial Management, Project Costing, Project Billing, and Project ContractsProvide solutioning and architectural guidance to shape and advance Rite's PaaS product suite.Provide hands-on architectural exposure to Oracle Fusion Financials modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management), ensuring PPM solutions are tightly aligned with enterprise financial processesLead architecture design workshops with executive and VP-level stakeholders across Finance, PMO, Operations, and Contracts, translating complex business requirements into scalable, enterprise-grade Oracle Cloud PPM and Financials solutionsDefine enterprise-wide PPM and Financials solution roadmaps, integration strategy, and architecture standards across the full project lifecycle — creation, budgeting, forecasting, costing, billing, and revenue generationProvide functional leadership across multiple concurrent PPM and Financials implementation and enhancement engagements, mentoring senior consultants and project teams, and developing consulting capability across the practiceOwn multiple client accounts, maintaining strong relationships with IT and business leaders to ensure quality delivery and customer satisfactionDrive fit-gap analysis, solution blueprinting, and architecture governance; classifications, roles, team structures, status-driven workflows, project numbering, calendars, and period structures aligned with financial calendars and GL business units/legal entitiesArchitect project costing structures including expenditure types/categories, non-labor resources, cost rate and burden schedules, cross-charge and transfer pricing rules, budgetary controls, commitment tracking, encumbrance accounting, and cost adjustment/transfer/distribution processesArchitect project billing and contracts solutions covering billing methods (percent complete, milestone, rate-based, cost-plus), contract types, revenue recognition, invoice formats, bill/revenue plans, retention and progress billing for EPC-style contracts, intercompany/cross-project billing, and integration with Accounts Receivable for invoicing and cash applicationArchitect project management and resource management capabilities including project plans, WBS and task hierarchies, resource including solution demonstrations and effort estimation for prospective and existing clientsProduct Design & DevelopmentContribute to Rite Software's Product Design and Development function, partnering with the product team to shape functional requirements and solution design for Rite's PaaS product suiteBrainstorm and architect solutions across diverse industry scenarios — including Engineering & Construction, Oil & Gas, and other project-driven sectors — to inform feature design and continuously enhance Rite's PaaS productsRequirements & QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (BE/MBA preferred)15+ years of Oracle ERP experience, with deep, hands-on expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud PPM and a demonstrated track record as a solution architectMinimum of 5 full-lifecycle Oracle Cloud PPM and/or Financials implementations, with at least 2 in a principal-level capacityDemonstrated experience across multiple engagement types — greenfield implementations, ERP-to-Cloud migrations, multi-country roll-outs, and AMS supportHands-on exposure to Oracle Fusion Financials modules (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash Management), in addition to PPMStrong understanding of PPM integration with Oracle Financials and ProcurementStrong command of accounting principles, financial close, and internal control requirements in a US and global reporting contextProven experience managing or building out a PPM practice or Center of Excellence, including mentoring teams and elevating functional capabilityDemonstrated success owning multiple
