Location: Riyadh, Saudi ArabiaOverviewOur client, a forward‑thinking IT Consultancy, is strengthening its enterprise integration function and is seeking a senior technical leader to drive reliability, performance, and full transaction traceability across complex integration and microservices environments.

The role blends deep technical troubleshooting with platform oversight, ensuring smooth and consistent flows across IBM Cloud Pak for Integration, Red Hat OpenShift, and Spring Boot services. You’ll serve as the key technical authority for stability, observability, and Root Cause Analysis within distributed systems.Main ResponsibilitiesEnsure reliable end‑to‑end movement of transactions across API Connect, ACE, and Spring Boot services, maintaining clear visibility of every integration path.Lead technical investigations when issues arise, driving RCAs for problems such as MQ delivery failures, ACE flow disruptions, or JVM instability within microservices.Monitor and optimise OpenShift environments by reviewing resource usage, adjusting workloads, and ensuring pods scale effectively under varying demand.Address and enforce security controls across the integration layer, resolving challenges related to mTLS, OAuth2, token validation, and encrypted payload handling.Diagnose and fix ACE flow behaviour, ESQL logic defects, and adapter connectivity issues across SAP, databases, and file‑based integrations.Oversee MQ operations by managing queue managers, analysing channel retry patterns, and resolving dead‑letter queue activity or persistence concerns.Support API Connect by troubleshooting API configuration issues, policy enforcement errors, and performance delays at the DataPower gateway.Investigate JVM performance using thread and heap analysis to resolve memory leaks, CPU saturation, or degraded microservice behaviour.Resolve integration issues across Spring Boot services involving JPA/Hibernate, JMS/Kafka, databases, and external systems.Use ELK, Splunk, or similar platforms to correlate logs across distributed services and identify the true source of failures.Maintain strong observability across integration and microservices platforms using Instana, Dynatrace, Prometheus, or Grafana.Continuously improve monitoring, documentation, and engineering practices to strengthen reliability across the entire integration ecosystem.Qualifications5+ years of experience working as a Principal Integration & Platform Reliability Architect or in a similar position. Strong expertise across IBM CP4I components (ACE, MQ, API Connect).Advanced Java/Spring Boot knowledge, including Spring Integration and Spring Cloud.Hands‑on experience with Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes in enterprise environments.Solid understanding of REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, AMQP, and MQTT.Practical experience with Instana, Dynatrace, Prometheus, or Grafana.Proven background in RCA, distributed systems debugging, and platform reliability.Experience supporting integration and microservices platforms within large, complex organisations.ApplyApplicants meeting this criterion and looking for a progressive and challenging opportunity should submit an application via the apply link.
