Job SummarySeeking a Principal Mobile Engineer with deep iOS expertise and strong Android/Kotlin knowledge to lead mobile architecture, development, and technical strategy for secure, scalable, AI-enabled consumer applications. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring approximately 50% hands-on engineering.Key ResponsibilitiesLead architecture and development of native iOS applications using Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, and Combine.Provide technical direction for Android/Kotlin development.Define mobile engineering standards, reusable components, and best practices.Partner with Product, Design, Backend, Data, and AI teams on technical strategy and roadmap decisions.Drive performance, scalability, security, testing, CI/CD, and observability improvements.Build and manage Datadog dashboards, monitors, and alerts.Implement Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics for mobile applications.Mentor engineers and communicate architecture and investment decisions to senior stakeholders.Leverage AI-assisted development tools within the SDLC.Required Qualifications10+ years mobile development experience and 3+ years in Principal/technical leadership roles.Expert Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, and Combine skills.Strong Kotlin/Android knowledge.Hands-on experience with Datadog, Adobe Analytics, and Azure DevOps.Experience with Git, Fastlane, Firebase, CI/CD, automated testing, and App Store/Google Play releases.Strong knowledge of REST APIs, OAuth2, mobile security, accessibility, performance, and scalable architecture.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Fintech/financial services or consumer mobile experience.Experience with mobile payments, identity verification, or push notifications.Experience with AI/ML-enabled mobile applications.
