Our partner is looking for a Principal Professional Affairs & Clinical Education Specialist based in United States.The Principal Professional Affairs & Clinical Education Specialist leads the development and delivery of healthcare professional education supporting the safe and effective adoption of surgical technologies. The role sits within a Medical Education function and works closely with Medical Affairs, physician faculty, clinical experts, marketing, commercial teams, and other cross-functional partners. You will shape curriculum strategies, learning pathways, and educational content that respond to evolving clinical practices, product innovation, and learner needs. The position combines strategic program development with hands-on execution of clinical education initiatives and physician-led programs. Success requires translating clinical and field insights into engaging, evidence-based learning experiences with measurable outcomes. The role also provides opportunities to engage with healthcare professionals through conferences, symposia, meetings, and educational events. This is a remote U.S. position with approximately 50% travel.AccountabilitiesDefine and maintain curriculum frameworks, learning objectives, learner pathways, and success measures for healthcare professional education programs.Develop and execute multi-year curriculum roadmaps aligned with product launches, portfolio expansion, emerging clinical evidence, and evolving educational needs.Identify and prioritize education gaps by analyzing field insights, learner feedback, program performance, and other relevant data.Lead the development of standardized, compliant, and reusable educational materials, including clinical presentations, case-based learning modules, facilitator guides, and digital learning assets.Partner with Medical Affairs, physician faculty, clinical experts, commercial teams, and other stakeholders to develop, review, and validate educational curricula and content.Facilitate educational programs for healthcare professionals focused on diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and effective technology utilization.Support physician-led education initiatives, consulting programs, faculty engagement, and professional education activities that strengthen relationships with clinicians and healthcare organizations.Represent educational initiatives at scientific meetings, symposia, conferences, and other professional programs to support procedural and technology awareness.Coordinate cross-functional projects and ensure educational programs are delivered effectively, consistently, and in alignment with applicable requirements.RequirementsBachelor's degree with 7+ years of relevant experience developing educational curricula, learning pathways, healthcare professional education programs, medical education programs, or clinical training initiatives, including sales or marketing experience; or an advanced degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.Demonstrated experience creating curriculum, training materials, or learning content for healthcare professionals or other clinical audiences.Experience collaborating with physicians, faculty members, key opinion leaders, or other healthcare stakeholders on educational initiatives.Proven ability to lead projects and work across multiple functions to deliver healthcare education or training programs.Strong communication, organization, stakeholder management, and program execution skills, with the ability to translate complex clinical information into effective educational experiences.Ability and willingness to travel approximately 50% to support educational programs, meetings, conferences, and other business needs.Clinical and sales experience supporting hernia, colorectal, gynecology, urology, bariatric, thoracic, or robotic procedures is preferred.Experience with physician engagement programs, medical education initiatives, professional society partnerships, conferences, educational events, faculty programs, or meeting logistics is preferred.Experience in healthcare, medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or clinical research environments is preferred.Knowledge of healthcare compliance requirements relevant to professional and clinical education is preferred.For baccalaureate degrees earned outside the United States, the degree must satisfy the requirements of 8 C.F.R.214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A).BenefitsBase salary range of $104,800–$157,200 annually for U.S. locations, excluding Puerto Rico and certain California locations.Eligibility for a short-term incentive through an incentive compensation plan.Health, dental, and vision insurance for eligible regular employees working 20+ hours per week.Health Savings Account and Healthcare Flexible Spending Account.Life insurance and long-term disability coverage.Dependent daycare spending account.Tuition assistance and reimbursement.Global well-being program.401(k) plan with employer contribution and matching.Short-term disability coverage.Paid time off and paid holidays.Employee Stock Purchase Plan.Employee Assistance Program.Additional retirement and capital accumulation programs subject to applicable eligibility and IRS requirements.Remote work within the United States with approximately 50% travel.How Jobgether WorksWe use an AI-powered matching process to ensure your application is reviewed quickly, objectively, and fairly against the role's core requirements.
