Integrated Health Care Management Group (IHCM) is looking for an experienced Principal Regulatory Compliance Lead to join our central team and help strengthen regulatory assurance across our services.This is a senior role with responsibility for leading our Compliance Team and ensuring we have a consistent, proportionate and risk-based approach to regulatory compliance across the Group.You will work closely with operational teams, Registered Managers and senior leaders to identify risk, support inspection readiness and drive continuous improvement in the quality and safety of care.Key responsibilities will include:Leading and developing the Compliance TeamDelivering risk-based compliance visits, audits and thematic reviewsIdentifying and escalating regulatory risks, trends and emerging concernsProducing clear assurance reports, recommendations and improvement plansSupporting services through regulatory inspections and registrationsAdvising managers and senior leaders on regulatory requirementsMonitoring regulatory developments across England and ScotlandStrengthening governance, risk and compliance processes across the GroupPresenting assurance and risk information at governance meetingsAbout youYou will have substantial experience in health or social care compliance, quality assurance, governance or audit, along with strong leadership and stakeholder-management skills.You will also have:Strong knowledge of health and social care regulatory frameworksExperience of compliance visits, audits or service reviewsExperience supporting services through regulatory inspectionsStrong analytical and report-writing skillsConfidence advising and constructively challenging senior stakeholdersExperience of the Mental Health Act Code of Practice, Mental Capacity Act, DoLS and safeguarding requirementsThis is a remote/hybrid role, with travel to services as required.If you are passionate about regulatory assurance, continuous improvement and maintaining high standards of care, we would be pleased to hear from you.
