Company OverviewFinance is being rebuilt on blockchain and AI, with money that is programmable and markets that are tokenised and settle in real time. Our client, a Singapore-based digital asset investor backed by proprietary capital, invests in the companies and protocols building that new financial infrastructure, from early stage through growth and across liquid markets.Role OverviewAs Principal Investor, you will work side by side with the Managing Partner on most of the firm’s deals, across venture, liquid tokens, public equities and fund commitments. Success means driving deals from first meeting through to realisation, and helping shape the firm’s view on new sectors. The role is based in Singapore on a hybrid basis, with frequent travel.Key ResponsibilitiesSource and lead due diligence on opportunities in digital assets, blockchain and new financial infrastructure, across venture, liquid token and public equity marketsPartner with the Managing Partner on most transactions, travelling regularly to meet founders, funds and co-investorsStructure and negotiate deal terms through to close alongside senior leadershipBuild a wide network of founders, operators, analysts and investors to generate proprietary deal flowSupport portfolio companies after investment and track their performanceResearch markets, sectors and companies to spot emerging themes, including beyond digital assets, and help shape the firm’s thesis in new areasUse AI tools across sourcing, diligence and research, and drive their adoption across the teamRepresent the firm at industry events and across the digital asset communityKey RequirementsRequired5+ years in venture investing, liquid or secondary market investing, hedge funds or equity researchDeep understanding of digital assets, blockchain and financial services, with real enthusiasm for the spaceAn active network across the digital asset industry, from founders and funds to exchanges and protocolsStrong ownership: you drive deals independently and thrive with autonomySound judgement and the ability to earn the trust of founders and co-investorsComfortable with frequent travelPreferredAppetite for evaluating unfamiliar and emerging sectors beyond cryptoHands-on use of AI tools in your day-to-day workMandarinOnly shortlisted candidates will be contacted.View all live mandates: rockrosesearch.com/jobsGet real-time job alerts on our WhatsApp ChannelAbout Rockrose Executive SearchRockrose is a Singapore-headquartered executive search firm that places the GTM, Technology, Applied AI and Corporate talent powering the world’s most ambitious companies across APAC.
