Principal Technical Architect

Job Title: Principal/ Technical ArchitectLocation: Pleasanton, CA (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite)Employment Type: Full-timeAbout the RoleMeeru AI is looking for a Staff/Principal Architect to lead the architecture and development of Maverick, our next-generation AI-powered, multi-tenant SaaS platform for financial intelligence and workflow automation. This is a greenfield opportunity to design a scalable cloud-native platform, define the technology stack, and build enterprise-grade AI solutions from the ground up.Key ResponsibilitiesArchitect and build a multi-tenant SaaS platform on AWS.Design scalable cloud-native microservices and APIs.Lead architecture for AI/LLM-based financial agents using LangGraph/LangChain.Design secure enterprise authentication (SSO/SAML, RBAC).Build high-performance PostgreSQL data architecture with tenant isolation.Lead technical decisions, mentor engineers, and review architecture/design.Drive CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, observability, security, and production readiness.Integrate enterprise systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Workday, and other financial platforms.Required Qualifications12+ years of software engineering experience with 5+ years in architecture roles.Proven experience building enterprise multi-tenant SaaS platforms from scratch.Strong expertise in AWS cloud architecture and cloud-native development.Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, microservices, distributed systems, and REST APIs.Production experience with AI/LLMs, LangGraph or LangChain, and OpenAI/Anthropic APIs.Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform/CloudFormation, and CI/CD.Strong knowledge of enterprise security, SSO/SAML, OAuth2, JWT, and RBAC.Experience integrating ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or Workday.Excellent leadership, architecture, and stakeholder communication skills.
