Location: Charlotte, NCWork Arrangement: Hybrid – 3 days per week onsiteJob SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Principal Product Designer to lead the design of compelling and scalable digital product experiences.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in product design, interaction design, rapid prototyping, user validation, and design systems.This role will work closely with Product, Engineering, Discovery, and business stakeholders to transform opportunities and ideas into practical, user-focused product experiences.Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Design & StrategyTranslate business and user opportunities into effective product experiences.Explore multiple design solutions and guide teams toward the best approach.Define future-state workflows, user journeys, and interaction models.Turn product vision into practical, iterative experiences.Collaborate with Product, Discovery, and Engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle.Prototyping & User ValidationCreate rapid prototypes to test and improve product concepts.Use AI and emerging design tools to accelerate ideation and design iteration.Select the appropriate level of prototype fidelity based on project needs.Conduct user and stakeholder validation before development begins.Continuously improve prototyping and design practices.Design Systems & Experience FoundationsDevelop and maintain reusable interaction patterns and design principles.Contribute to and evolve design systems and visual language.Promote consistency across products through reusable design foundations.Identify opportunities to improve the overall user experience.
