This role requires deep expertise in hardware systems, strong cross-functional leadership, and the ability to drive end-to-end product realization from concept through mass production.You will own the full lifecycle of IT cooling solution product development, driving execution across mechanical, thermal, firmware, and manufacturing teams. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, operations, and business strategy, ensuring the delivery of scalable, reliable, and cost-effective liquid cooling solutions.This position also includes customer-facing responsibilities, working directly with high-tech customers to align technical requirements, support solution development, and assist with deployment in data center environments.ResponsibilitiesProgram Leadership & ExecutionLead end-to-end development of IT cooling solutions from concept, architecture, prototyping, EVT/DVT/PVT, through mass productionBuild and manage program schedules, milestones, and resource plans across multiple projectsEnsure on-time delivery while balancing performance, cost, quality, and manufacturabilityTechnical & System-Level OversightCollaborate with engineering teams on system architecture, including fluid systems, pumps, heat exchangers, sensors, and control systemsEvaluate technical trade-offs across thermal performance, reliability, cost, and scalabilityIdentify and resolve system integration challenges across mechanical, thermal, and control subsystemsCustomer-Facing & External EngagementInterface directly with high-tech customers to understand technical requirements and align system architectureSupport customer design reviews, technical discussions, and solution proposalsProvide program updates and communicate technical progress to external stakeholdersTravel to customer sites and data centers to support system deployment, troubleshooting, and issue resolutionCross-Functional LeadershipDrive alignment across mechanical, thermal, firmware, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teamsServe as the primary interface between engineering and non-technical stakeholders (product, operations, finance, leadership)Coordinate with global teams and external partners (OEMs, ODMs, EMS, and suppliers)Manufacturing & Supply ChainLead NPI readiness and transition from prototype to volume productionPartner with suppliers and manufacturing teams to establish scalable production processes and ensure quality and yield targetsManage vendor relationships and ensure supply continuity for critical componentsRisk Management & Problem SolvingIdentify risks across design, supply chain, and manufacturingDrive root cause analysis and corrective actions for system-level issues (leaks, flow instability, thermal inefficiency, component failures)Lead rapid issue resolution to maintain program timelinesBudget & Strategic AlignmentDevelop and manage program budgets, cost forecasting, and product cost optimizationAlign program execution with company strategy, especially in AI infrastructure and liquid cooling adoptionProvide regular updates and recommendations to executive leadershipQualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, or related field8+ years of experience in technical program management, hardware engineering, or system integrationStrong background in complex hardware systems, thermal systems, or electromechanical productsProven experience leading NPI programs from concept through mass productionDeep understanding of cross-functional development (mechanical, thermal, and manufacturing)Experience working with global suppliers and partners (OEM / ODM / EMS)Native or professional fluency in Mandarin and English to facilitate technical discussions and prevent communication gaps between the Asia team and the U.S. team.Strong communication skills with the ability to work in customer-facing environmentsPreferred QualificationsExperience with liquid cooling systems, IT cooling solutions, or data center infrastructureFamiliarity with pumps, heat exchangers, fluid control systems, and thermal managementBackground in AI server or high-performance computing hardwareStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset
