This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong data protection and privacy background who is looking to broaden their experience across wider compliance activities, with a clear opportunity for progression within the compliance function.The RoleYou'll join a compliance team where privacy and data protection form a key part of the role, alongside wider regulatory and operational compliance responsibilities.Key responsibilities include:Acting as a key point of contact for privacy and data protection matters, including GDPR-related queriesSupporting privacy compliance activities, documentation, and governance processesReviewing and monitoring compliance across purchasing and operational processesSupporting counter-fraud activities through detection, investigation, and advisory workAssisting with contract reviews and customer communicationsSupporting consumer protection requirements and complaints handling processesWorking collaboratively with internal stakeholders to improve compliance practicesAbout YouAround 3 years' experience within a privacy, data protection role.Strong knowledge of GDPR and wider data protection principlesExperience handling privacy queries, compliance documentation, or governance activitiesComfortable working across broader compliance areas beyond privacy aloneA proactive approach with the ability to work with multiple stakeholdersThis role would suit someone who enjoys privacy but is looking to develop into a broader compliance career path rather than remaining solely focused on data protection.What's on Offer£35,000–£45,000 basic salary + quarterly bonusPension scheme25 days holiday + bank holidaysHybrid working (3 days office, 2 days home)Genuine progression opportunity within the compliance function
