We are also developing the DilicheckRep SaaS platform to help clients assess their regulatory obligations, manage compliance requirements, maintain documentation, and coordinate ongoing privacy and representative-service activities more efficiently.DilicheckRep works with companies across different jurisdictions and sectors, with a particular focus on businesses operating internationally or expanding into new markets. Our team works remotely and collaboratively, with a strong emphasis on practical problem-solving, accuracy, accountability, innovation, and continuous learning.Role DescriptionWe are looking for a Privacy and Compliance Specialist to join the DilicheckRep team in a full-time remote role.The successful candidate will support client-facing privacy and regulatory compliance projects, with a particular focus on GDPR and India’s DPDP Act, alongside other international privacy frameworks.The role will also contribute directly to the development of the DilicheckRep SaaS platform, helping translate legal and regulatory requirements into practical product features, compliance workflows, questionnaires, templates, guidance, and automated processes.Day-to-day responsibilities will include reviewing client operations, policies and data-processing activities; identifying compliance gaps; preparing and maintaining privacy documentation; conducting regulatory research; supporting implementation and remediation activities; and collaborating with the product and technology teams on the development of the DilicheckRep platform.Key Responsibilities- Supporting DPDP Act compliance programmes for Indian and international organisations operating in India.- Supporting GDPR and UK GDPR compliance, including international businesses targeting or processing data relating to individuals in Europe.- Conducting privacy and compliance gap assessments and risk reviews.- Supporting preparation and maintenance of privacy policies, notices, data-processing records, consent frameworks, vendor documentation and internal procedures.- Assisting with data mapping and documentation of personal-data processing activities.- Supporting clients with data subject/data principal rights processes and privacy-related requests.- Researching regulatory developments, guidance and enforcement trends affecting clients.- Tracking compliance actions, remediation plans and ongoing regulatory obligations.- Assisting with privacy incident assessment, escalation and documentation.- Preparing client guidance, compliance checklists, templates, playbooks and training materials.- Collaborating with lawyers, compliance professionals, technology teams and other stakeholders across jurisdictions.- Supporting the design and development of the DilicheckRep SaaS platform.- Translating regulatory requirements into structured product workflows, compliance questionnaires, decision trees, controls and automated guidance.- Helping define product requirements and user journeys from a privacy and regulatory perspective.- Reviewing SaaS features and compliance content for legal and regulatory accuracy.- Supporting the creation of regulatory libraries, templates, knowledge bases and client-facing compliance tools.- Working with product and development teams to test new features and ensure that the platform reflects practical compliance requirements.- Identifying opportunities to automate repetitive privacy and compliance activities through the DilicheckRep platform.QualificationsCandidates should have:- Strong knowledge or practical experience in privacy, data protection or regulatory compliance.- Familiarity with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and its developing regulatory framework is highly desirable.- Knowledge of GDPR and UK GDPR is strongly preferred.- Ability to interpret legislation and regulatory guidance and convert requirements into practical compliance measures.- An interest in legal technology, compliance automation and SaaS product development.- Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into clear workflows, questionnaires, controls and practical user guidance.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify regulatory risks and recommend proportionate solutions.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.- Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce clear, accurate documentation.- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple client projects and priorities.- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Compliance, Information Security, Privacy or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.Experience with other privacy frameworks such as CCPA/CPRA, HIPAA or comparable international regulations is beneficial.Professional privacy or compliance qualifications such as CIPP/E, CIPP/A, CIPM, CIPT or similar certifications are an advantage but are not essential.Experience working with Indian privacy regulation, technology companies, SaaS businesses, legal technology, compliance platforms, international organisations, or consulting/legal services environments will be particularly relevant.DilicheckRep offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of privacy, technology and international regulation, contributing both to client compliance projects and to the development of a scalable SaaS platform designed to simplify regulatory compliance across jurisdictions.
