Some of the perks you’ll enjoy: Bi-annual performance appraisals A culture that rewards initiative, curiosity, and impact If you're looking for a place where you can make a real difference while working with smart, driven, and genuinely nice people, welcome to Leegality.Location: GGN/MUM/BGL (On-Site)Role Overview: We are looking for a Privacy Solutions Consultant who can help large enterprises solve complex privacy and DPDP compliance challenges using technology.The ideal candidate has worked in a privacy consulting/advisory practice or enterprise privacy function and has hands-on experience implementing privacy technology solutions.We are looking for someone who combines a strong understanding of privacy regulations with the ability to understand business processes and technology systems, identify privacy gaps, and translate privacy requirements into practical technology implementations.You will work closely with DPOs, CISOs, CXOs, Compliance teams, Digital Operations teams and technology stakeholders to understand their privacy programs, bring industry best practices to their privacy solutions and implement Consentin and allied solutions.What You Will Do: Design practical implementation plans using Consentin and allied privacy solutions to address identified compliance gaps. Identify the right business processes, systems and data flows where solutions for Consent Management, Data Subject/Data Principal Rights, Third-Party Management, Incident Management, Data Discovery and Privacy Risk Assessments should be implemented. Use Consentin to provide practical solutions to businesses’ compliance problems and bring industry best practices to their DPDP compliance programs Conduct requirement-discovery discussions with DPOs, CISOs, CXOs, Compliance, Legal, Security, Digital Operations and Technology teams and translate privacy requirements into implementable solutions. Lead or support the implementation and configuration of privacy technology platforms, ensuring that the solution aligns with the client's regulatory, operational and technology requirements. Provide practical guidance to clients on compliance with DPDP, GDPR, CCPA and other relevant national and international privacy regulations. Apply relevant privacy, information security and governance frameworks such as ISO 27701, ISO 27001/2, ISO 27018, NIST and other applicable standards while designing solutions. Review and assess privacy controls to evaluate their effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement. Identify product improvements based on client implementations, privacy requirements and market needs, and work closely with Product and Engineering teams to translate these insights into product enhancements. Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and act as a trusted partner during privacy transformation and implementation programs. Work from client locations when required based on project needs. What We Are Looking For: 2-4 years of relevant experience in privacy consulting, privacy technology, privacy implementation, data protection or closely related roles. Experience working in a privacy consulting/advisory practice, privacy technology implementation team, or enterprise privacy function is strongly preferred. Hands-on experience implementing privacy solutions such as OneTrust, BigID, Securiti, TrustArc or similar privacy technology platforms in large enterprises. Ability to understand a client's privacy program and translate regulatory requirements into business processes, system requirements and technology implementations. Strong working knowledge of privacy regulations such as India's DPDP Act, GDPR, CCPA or other data protection regimes. Experience interacting with senior stakeholders such as DPOs, CISOs, Compliance Heads, technology leaders and CXOs and the ability to independently conduct requirement and solution discussions. Understanding of privacy and information-security frameworks such as ISO 27701, ISO 27001/2, ISO 27018 and NIST. Exposure to additional frameworks such as ISO 22301 or HITRUST is a plus. At least one recognised privacy certification such as CIPM, CIPT or CIPP/E, or willingness to obtain one before joining. Strong problem-solving and consulting skills, with the ability to move from "What does the regulation require?" to "How should we practically implement this for the client?" Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Hindi or Marathi proficiency is an advantage.
