PRIVATE HOUSEHOLD MANAGER | LIVE-IN ESTATE | 24/7Private Estate, approximately 2 hours from London£80,000–£120,000+ DOE | High-spec live-in accommodation provided on the estateWe are seeking an exceptional Private Household Manager to take full operational responsibility for the seamless running of a prestigious private estate.Five-star hospitality training and experience is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will have been developed within a genuine five-star luxury environment or a highly sophisticated private household, bringing an instinctive understanding of impeccable service, presentation, discretion and highly personalised guest care.This is a senior, hands-on leadership role requiring complete oversight of the estate and all day-to-day operations. The successful candidate will ensure the property is maintained to the highest possible standards whilst anticipating the needs of the Principal and guests with absolute discretion and professionalism.Key responsibilities include:• Full operational management of the estate and its presentation• Leadership, recruitment, training and development of all household staff• Oversight of housekeeping, front-of-house service, maintenance and security• Management of contractors, suppliers and specialist artisans• Procurement, inventories, purchasing and budget control• Planning and delivery of guest stays, private entertaining and events• Preventative maintenance schedules and estate improvement projects• Close liaison with the Principal, Family Office and external advisers• Writing, implementing and continually updating the Estate House Manual, ensuring all operational procedures, service standards, maintenance schedules, emergency protocols and household systems are fully documented and consistently followed• Taking complete ownership of the estate's operational systems and being fully au fait with every aspect of its day-to-day running, ensuring continuity, efficiency and exceptional standards at all timesWe are particularly interested in candidates with senior experience in a substantial private household, country estate, five-star boutique hotel or luxury private members' club.The successful candidate will bring the discipline and standards of world-class hospitality into a private residence, ensuring it is impeccably managed, discreet, highly personalised and effortlessly run, whilst never feeling like a hotel.This is a rare opportunity for an accomplished household professional seeking a long-term position within an exceptional private estate.Live-on-site is essential.
