Apply & track with Apply EdgeAbout the CompanyArab Invest is a Pan-Arab joint-stock company established in July 1974 and owned by governments of 16 Arab states with an authorized capital of US$ 1,200 Million and a paid-up capital of US$ 917 million.About the RoleAs a Private Market Investment Manager, you will actively support the implementation of the Arab Invest private market investment strategy, by sourcing, evaluating, leading the end-to-end execution process of selected transactions across direct and co-investments, private equity funds and private credit funds and other alternative investments asset class. You will also support portfolio companies value creation initiatives and mentor junior investment professionals. Private Market Investment Manager reports to the Director of Private Markets.ResponsibilitiesKeep abreast with the latest market and macro-economic developments, and evolution of the private equity/ private credit industry in the Arab World and globally Source and screen direct and funds investment opportunities Lead financial, commercial, and valuation analysis for complex transactionsLead due diligence processes end-to-end Develop investment thesis, structure transactions and negotiate transaction terms and definitive documentationPrepare high-quality investment memoranda and present recommendations to internal committeesManage relationships with external stakeholders including investment partners, co-investors, advisors and market participants Oversee portfolio management activities including monitoring financial performance, governance participation, and value creation initiativesSupport portfolio companies through strategic oversight and board-level engagement where applicableContribute to exit planning for portfolio companiesMentor and review the work of analysts and senior analysts, ensuring analytical rigor and professional developmentContribute to departmental policies, procedures, and continuous improvement initiativesQualificationsMinimum of 7-9 years of experience in private equity, private credit, investment banking, or corporate developmentBachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related disciplineMBA, CFA, CAIA, or equivalent professional qualification preferredRequired Technical SkillsStrong deal execution experience Ability to lead workstreams independently with commercial judgement and structuring capabilityStrong communication skills and ability to mentor junior team membersFluent in Arabic and EnglishRequired Soft SkillsTeamworkIntegrityStakeholder FocusAccountability
